Randal B. Acker

Firm Founder/Managing Attorney. Randal attended Portland’s Wilson High School before heading to California for college and then New York for law school. He was lured back to Portland in 1991 to work for a large, regional, law firm. Thereafter, he started his own practice in Portland.

Randal offers significant trial experience and has represented a variety of businesses in most industries. Randal oversees all firm matters and focuses primarily on business representation and litigation.

Aaron S. Ferreira

Senior Associate Attorney. Aaron joined Acker & Associates P.C. in 2001. A native of California, Aaron entered the legal industry in 1994 when he began working for a law firm on California's central coast. He came to the northwest to attend law school and now resides here. His practice focuses on forming business entities and assisting them with drafting and negotiating commercial leases, real estate purchase agreements, employment contracts, and other business agreements. Aaron's work also includes construction law disputes, estate planning and probate, intellectual property matters, and appellate actions.

Kelsey Curtis

Office Manager/Certified Paralegal. Kelsey was born and raised in Portland, Oregon. She attended Glencoe High School and then lived in San Francisco, California for several years, working in the international tourism industry.

After returning to Portland, Kelsey began working in the commercial real estate field as a leasing director and property manager at a national firm. She joined the Acker & Associates P.C. team in 2008. Kelsey oversees all administrative aspects of the firm and assists the firm's attorneys with business formations, litigation, estate planning, and other legal matters.
