Ken's Artisan Bakery & Ken's Artisan Pizza

Ken's Artisan Bakery in NW Portland, founded in 2001, is a Portland institution well known for baking some of the best artisan bread and pastries in the country. Owner Ken Forkish was a semi-finalist in the James Beard award category Outstanding Pastry Chef in 2008. Ken's Artisan Pizza is a dinner-only restaurant in SE Portland, featuring blistered-crust Neopolitan-style pizzas baked in a massive wood-fired oven. The pizzeria is also known for its seasonal salads and veggies, a 100-bottle wine list, and great service. Ken's Artisan Pizza was featured as one of the country's top ten pizzerias by Playboy.com, and voted Portland's best pizza on Portland Food & Drink's website.
